Welcome to the official PTA webpage, where you'll find the latest information about what's going on with the PTA and all the relevant files and meeting minutes. We are all set for an exciting year ahead and hope to continue to support the school and provide some moments of fun for the children.
First up this year is the Annual General Meeting (AGM). We’ll be holding our AGM on Thursday 23rd September at 19:00. The meeting will take place for about 90 minutes via a Teams videoconference using this link. This is an opportunity for you to come along and hear in more detail about what we did last year. We’ll also be electing our new Officers and Committee Members, as well as talking about the upcoming events planned for this year and you can ask any questions you may already have. All parents and guardians of Budbrooke students are welcome to attend.
We are on the look out for a new Treasurer and Secretary, so if you are interested in either role, please send an email to the PTA (using the email address below) ahead of the meeting. Details of both roles can be found in the documents at the bottom of this page. If you would like to join the Committee, you can sign up on the night with no prior email required. If you'd just like to come along and listen, that's also fine and definitely encouraged! The minutes for the AGM will be added to this page for everyone to read, once they have been reviewed and approved by the Committee following the meeting.

Budbrooke PTA Information
Parents/Carers of current pupils and teachers are automatically members of Budbrooke PTA. In addition, other members of the community who have an interest in the school (e.g. grandparents) are also welcome to join. The vast majority of members contribute in some way towards the PTA, including supporting by volunteering at or attending events and donating items.
Budbrooke PTA is a registered charity run by a committee. The Committee Officers includes a chair, vice chair, treasurer and secretary. The chair, treasurer and secretary also act as trustees for the charity. All of these positions are elected on an annual basis at the Annual General Meeting, which is held at the start of each academic year. Anyone who is a member of Budbrooke PTA is able to stand for these positions. PTA members can also volunteer to become Committee Members, who work with the Officers and volunteers to prepare, set up and run the various events and activities during the year.
Budbrooke PTA’s aim is to improve the experience of all the children who attend Budbrooke School by providing ‘WOW’ moments. This is achieved in two ways:
- Organising events for all of the children to enjoy, for example school discos and fetes that will provide memories for both children and parents.
- Fundraising so that we are able to support the school with added extras that are not covered directly by school funds.
There are regular meetings to agree, plan and organise events. These meetings are open to everyone, and the dates will be published on this page. If you wish to get in contact with the PTA Committee Officers or Members, please come and find us in the playground before/after school or email email@example.com. There are lots of ways that people can contribute to the work that we do.
We hold a committee meeting on the first Thursday of every month. This is currently via MS Teams video conference due to the current situation. The next one will take place on Thursday 7th October 2021.
