Led by Miss Fletcher

We are proud to have been elected to School Council this year. We act as a voice for our classes and are role models around school. We are looking forward to taking part in exciting projects to improve the school and to promoting the school’s 5 values: consideration, challenge, collaboration, curiosity and confidence.

School Council - Spring Update

British Sign Language Week 13.03.23

Our school councillors have been proud to learn to sign words as part of British Sign Language Week. They have demonstrated our confidence school value by teaching the children in their classes to communicate in BSL.

School Council children are really proud  to encourage the children in the school to express our 5 core values. Our School Councillors organise the Values raffle in our Values assembly every Monday where tokens are drawn and prizes are won. At our recent meeting, the School Council has designed posters to remind children to dress up with digits for the NSPCC Number Day.

School Council – Autumn Term Update

At the start of term, each class elected two School Councillors to represent and champion the views of Budbrooke children. Our School Councillors are excited to begin surveying the views of the children in their classes and have many exciting projects planned.

Already this term, the School Council has arranged to collect Harvest festival donations in aid of Foodbank and are very grateful for the generosity of our school community.

We also have plans to fundraise for charities such as Children in Need and the NSPCC. Attached is the School Council Action Plan and Job Description for more information.
