Reception - Pine 2021 - 2022
Welcome to Pine's class learning page. On this page you will be able to find information about our learning in school such as our class timetable, our topic overview each half term, notices and also daily home learning if you are isolating at home.
Our topic this half term is 'Sunshine and Flowers' which is a seasonal project that provides lots of opportunities for outdoor learning. It teaches the children how to care for the plants and animals in their local environment and how to stay safe in the sun.
We will also be teaching the children how to feel resilient and confident in their learning, and learning how to use strategies or skills in approaching challenges. The children will also begin to understand that they can make healthy choices, along with naming and recognising how healthy choices can keep us well.
We have uploaded our Curriculum Newsletter for this half term so you can also see some of the Early Learning Goals we will be particularly focussing on as well.
